Important update 3rd June 2020|
A further update from Lancashire has come out today. They have said that they will review every Monday if they think it is safe for Lancashire schools to open to wider year groups.
So far, the thought is that schools will reopen on Monday 15th June, if it is safe and government targets are met. We are now working towards that date to reopen our school to the wider year groups of Year R, 1 and 6.
This still may change and I will have an update for you on Monday the 8th of June.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

"Where everyone shines with God's love"
At Great Harwood St. Johns CE Primary School it is our mission to:
Build a better place, where:
Everyone is welcome;
No one is ever lonely;
We respect and trust each other;
There is always someone to ask for help;
People help us to be the best we can.
Our School's Christian Values|
Thankfulness, Trust, Perseverance, Justice, Service, Truthfulness, Generosity. Compassion, Courage, Forgiveness, Friendship and Respect.
These values underpin our whole curriculum and are lived out in everyday school life. We chose one value per half term to study in depth but all are referred throughout the whole school day.
This half term's value is Forgiveness.
Despite some difficult weather conditions, staff are committed to the education of our children.
In the case of severe weather conditions requiring a school closure, we will place any updates here on our website and inform you through our local radio station 97.4 Rock FM.
